Hello there! I'm Sally-Ann, a former Patoss APC reviewer with over 25 years of experience as an SpLD Specialist. Throughout my career, I've contributed to postgraduate courses at London South Bank and Edge Hill University, where I served as Senior Lecturer on the AMBDA programme. As an assessor and long term APC holder myself, I can fully empathise with the challenges you may encounter in your professional journey. My goal is to support you in navigating your professional role and to enhance your skills as an assessor. I have a great network of fellow specialists and regularly consult with SASC to ensure that Praxis content is relevant, up to date and accurate. I am often commended on my ability to simplify potentially complex information, and I strive to bring that clarity to my training and coaching sessions. Very good practical suggestions- just what I need to help me focus on ways to make report wtiting more efficient! Also I very much liked Sally-Ann's sympathetic approach with its reassurance that report writing is not an easy task!

  • Can I use these courses towards my CPD record for APC?

    Absolutely! You can use all of our courses, webinars and short sessions as evidence towards your CPD record

  • Will I receive a certificate for my CPD Record?

    Yes- you will receive a certificate when you have completed all of the elements of your enrolled course/session. Be sure to click on 'Get My Certificate' in the course player when you have reached 100% completion.

  • Are these sessions only for more experienced assessors?

    Everyone who accesses our training brings their own unique set of experiences and levels of familiarity and confidence. Our sessions aim to clarify best practice and offer extension opportunities for all assessors, whether you are currently in training or are on your 5th APC Renewal.

  • Do you offer mentoring?

    Praxis offers a comprehensive range of mentoring packages which range from one hour live sessions to our full report review service. Drop us an email for more information: [email protected]

  • Is there an opportunity to connect with other practitioners?

    Yes- each course has its own Discussion facilities to allow you to connect with others who have also completed your course. You will also be able to join the Praxis CPD Community for further networking opportunities.
