This session aims to explore everything you need to know about statistical analysis. It takes you through key concepts and terminology as well as focusing in on specific tests and core areas for consideration in interpretation, including relating to WRIT, WIAT III UK T, CTOPP2, TOMAL2, TOWRE 2

  • explain key concepts and terminology

  • look at common tests and know how to analyse the stats associated with them

  • comment on statistical significance and prevalence in an accessible way

  • consider when to use percentiles (if at all)

  • decide when to use footnotes when reporting

  • consider Appendix 1 content

  • calculate and use confidence intervals appropriately
