As always, SallyAnn delivered a comprehensive overview of what's on the market - the good, the bad and the ugly! I found her no-nonsense approach (pointing out the pros, cons and potential limitations of each test) really helpful to pick apart what would be useful. I feel in a better position to make informed decisions before purchasing tests. This is a great course, and definitely one to watch if you want to keep your finger on the pulse of developments in the SpLD world...

A good way to have a look at the new assessment tools coming in, if you are considering buying something, although there is no immediate need to do this.

Great course. I bought the DTVP:A2 some time ago after the Patoss webinar recommending replacements for the SDMT. This confirmed that I am using it in the correct way for FDAs as the other course I did about it was a bit ambiguous to say the least! It's also useful to have information about other tests out there, rather than just the ones I experienced during my PG Dip course. I'm currently happy with my battery of assessments but now can think about others to add in. Also helpful to know that others are being reviewed and new versions are on the horizon. Thank you!

How reassuring to hear that as yet we don’t have to rush out and invest more money in new tests in this cost of living crisis. I recognise that some of the tests require updating, but not all at once please!!!
