This was honestly such a valuable session! The mind map at the beginning and throughout really appeals to me. The tips on SASC additional guidance and the visual screening was a great reminder. As always, Sally-Ann's approach to training, real life examples/stories and sharing best practice is a cut above the rest! We as professionals can sometimes be quite guarded about our methods so being part of the Praxis community has made me feel as though we all belong to something far bigger. A community of collaboration instead of professional competition. I've tweaked quite a few things in my own practice based on what I have learnt here and I would never have known that there was a better way unless I had been part of this (...I once had a boss who said 'you don't know what you don't know...until you know better!' )I have attended several sessions and appreciated every one of them! The 2 hours just flew by! Thank you Sally-Ann!

I found Sally-Ann's delivery very engaging and clear. It's a long since I've written a report and I was worried about collecting and organising all the required information. I now feel much more confident generally, as she gave very clear guidance and I have remembered that I know a lot more than I sometimes think I do. Her generous sharing of wording and personal experiences was very enlightening and will be extremely helpful when writing up reports. As the background information now underpins assessment reports this course has equipped me to gather it efficiently and to weave it into the report. Thank you so much Sally-Ann - you have a new fan!

Jam packed with useful resources, references and links this is an excellent webinar. In addition to all the useful resources there are some really valuable thinking tools and a chance to really consider why background information in so important. Sally-Ann is good at running courses that are really relevant to what we do and enabling us to help the people we assess.
