Such a hot topic explained very clearly without trying to simplify a very nuanced discussion. It’s the area I fret about most.

Very useful! I am struggling with some tricky profiles and you have explained the definition of the Rose report commenting on 'unexpectedness'. I need to explore the scores from a different perspective. This would change the outcome of the diagnosis which will impact dramatically on the individual. Thank you very much!

Thank you for tackling common doubts and self questioning head on, especially the discrepancy between someone who has a high ability and a lower cognitive processing but still in the mid average range. I always say this is an area to look out for (the person may not be reaching their full potential) but in terms of diagnosing dyslexia, I thought this was part of the discrepancy model being scrapped.

Clear guidance about where we are now. ‘Unexpectedness’ as a term that allows for those scores which we identify as unexpected to be appropriately defined as dyslexia.
