As always sally Ann's Training was clear and personable and full of professional advice to improve practice when teaching or assessing spelling. As a SpLD teacher and assessor of some experience it was a very useful course and well worth doing.

This course refreshed my knowledge of spelling and also gave me some new ways to reflect upon the spellings attempted in assessments. The structure to analysing spelling errors is really useful and I have already put it to good use. Well worth the investment of time and money.

Absolutely brilliant! I am dyslexic and have never been confident about analysing other peoples spelling. This all made sense. I was also answering a lot of the rhetorical quaetions that were presented - someone who is a teacher and has always had low confidence and self-esteem around spelling. Taken lots of notes and made proformas for the categories and many other parts of this excellent course. Thank you so much for this user friendly presentation. Some of the understanding I have gained will also help for EHCP documents when reasons for approaches to literacy and in particular spelling need to be individualised for a learner taking so much more about this learner into consideration.

I really love analysing and then teaching spelling but this course has further developed my knowledge and understanding. Sally-Ann has real clarity in her organisation and delivery of the material and it has enabled me to put all of my thoughts into a logical progression. This course will enable assessors (and other professionals) to not only identify and analyse spelling errors but to report their findings in a really helpful way.
