Where Are We Now as Dyslexia Assessors?
A free live session with Sally-Ann Morrison
Exploring the changing professional landscape — and how The Confident Dyslexia Assessor can support your next steps.
A chance to pause and take stock
The assessor landscape is changing. This session will help you reflect on where we are now, what confident practice looks like and how to move forward with greater clarity.
The landscape of diagnostic assessment is changing
New reporting expectations, evolving definitions, professional guidance and increasing demands all shape the work we do.
Dyslexia assessors are expected to gather and evaluate complex evidence, make carefully considered diagnostic decisions and explain their findings clearly to a wide range of people.
We must balance professional guidance, test evidence, qualitative information, individual need and the practical realities of assessment.
It is a great deal to hold — and it can sometimes feel as though the goalposts are moving while we are still trying to take the shot.
This free session asks:
Where are we now as dyslexia assessors — and what do we need to move forward with greater clarity and confidence?
During the session, we will explore
A thoughtful overview of the current professional landscape and the principles that support confident, defensible practice.
The current assessor landscape
